This is Charlotte and Ryan. Charlotte is a Court Appointed Special Advocate (for abused and neglected children), and Ryan is a college student. Until last night, they didn't consider themselves artists. Now that we've seen what they can do, we know better! I can't wait to see what they do next.
While painting is not new to me, teaching is, so our evening together was an exciting challenge for each of us. Charlotte called it fun and relaxing. Ryan said it was fun and that he learned a lot. My description would be JOYFUL. No ... COMPLETELY joyful! We laughed and created.... then laughed some more, putting whatever we wanted on our canvas, in whatever colors made us happy. What could be better than that?
